I don't know what it is about this photograph, but I can't stop looking at it.  The colours are just beautiful.  I find it so calming!

Very excited today, our son will be seventeen tomorrow and we have a huge suprise for him.  Will let you know tomorrow, just in case he reads my blog!

Friendships...

I feel like once again I have been away from blogging forever.  Since I have left work I have not stopped, it has been an amazing two weeks.  Of course school holidays are always so much fun, I love spending time with my children just mucking about.

A beautiful friend of mine this week gave me the cushion pictured above, we were shopping last week for some home-wares for her home and I came across this cushion and said where could we put this in your home.  Well she popped over Tuesday evening and said I know how much you love this cushion I bought if for you.  It goes perfectly on my velvet chair. 

Don't you just  love how friendships form and how you can share so much with just one person!

I can't wait to go shopping again with you B xx

Hanging Chairs

Just love Hanging Chairs.  I like the Bubble Chair that Kelly Hoppen uses in her home.  A pretty cane chair would look great in a girls bedroom.

My Sammy is coming home today Yippee, he phoned his Dad yesterday and said he has hurt his ribs playing some game but Steve was not to tell me.  

When I got home from my last day of work, I could tell Steve had something on his mind.  I said come on "tell me whats wrong", he told me about Sammy.  Sammy does not want me to know as he is playing his AFL Grand Final tomorrow.  He just lives for his sport!  Of course I went into over protective mode and said "well he will not be playing if he is badly hurt", I did calm down and said to Steve "I guess if it was really bad we would of heard from his teachers".

Colourful!

Just loving these bright colours today!

I have had an extremely busy two weeks, I resigned one month ago from work and have been busy teaching a lovely young girl the ropes.  Last day tomorrow, I feel excited about leaving but a little apprehensive.  I chose to leave as I really would like to do something with Interiors and if I had not resigned I think I would of just kept on doing the same old thing for years.

My Sammy boy is away for nine days with school.  Our home is just not the same, I really miss his cuddles.   He phoned my husband on Monday, telling him his homesick.  When we were packing his bags last week, he said to me "Mum nine days is along time to be away from home".  Oh he is a gorgeous boy who just loves being home!

Beautiful Vines

I would love to be sitting under this Wisteria Tree enjoying afternoon Tea.

Another great spring smell is Jasmine.

We have planted Jasmine to trellis down the rock wall by our pool.  Hopefully next year when we move back to home there will be an abundance of beautiful smelling flowers.
