Staying on track

This is what I should be doing!

but instead I am dreaming.....

and end up looking at beautiful places like this!

Do you find it hard sitting behind a desk and being on task?   Well I do especially now that I am working from home.  I become distracted reading beautiful and interesting blogs, looking through magazines, drinking tea and googling.

I guess it has only been for a few weeks since I left my other job and I feel like I am on holidays.

I promise I will stay focused on the tasks I am supposed to be doing!

Enjoy today!

  1. Hi Mimi! I would be totally like you...googling, reading blogs...I could do that all day!! : ) I am currently job-hunting so I have to get all my day dreaming in now!
Thanks for commenting on my blog, my birthday month is December! You?

  2. Oh I hear ya! If only i could draw myself a little PA, to miraculously come to life....leaving me time to do only the fun stuff! K xx

  3. Hi Mimi

I know too easy how it is to lose concentration on anything with digital media. Social media I think enhances the marketing side of things but it clashes with time constraints and deadlines for me.

so with that said I have to close the laptop and go and do something productive :) (not that your blog is not productive x

    have a wonderful day

  9. Oh yes home can be so very distracting...the washing, the phone, the door...oh dear, I know exactly what you mean and you know there's nothing wrong with a little break every now and then...or is there? he he!

  10. I know the feeling - working from home requires such a lot of discipline. To be honest I have noticed since I discovered blogging last Christmas my productivity has halved - it's constantly luring me away from my spreadsheets and book keeping!
