I came across this image whilst looking for inspiration for my interior design assignment. I just love Black and White stripes and the wooden spools, desk, chair and bottle look fabulous.
I have been studying since 9.30 this morning and feeling a little brain dead. I have soooo much homework to do and just not enough time. My poor family are quite bored today, I have not spent anytime with them. Perhaps I will pack up and go to the park for a little play! We could all do with some fresh air.
THIS FABULOUS GIVEAWAY IS FROM POSIE (POSIE PATCHWORK BLOG). I KNOW ONE OF MY BOYS WOULD JUST LOVE THIS GIVEAWAY EVEN IF HE IS 14 YEARS OF AGE! DROP ON OVER TO POSIE FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN.

As I came downstairs this morning my son was watching the Brit Awards and this song was playing by an artist I have never heard of, I could not believe her voice, I went into the lounge room, sat down and asked Sam to rewind it (we have Foxtel, so you can do this) I could not believe the strength of this gorgeous womans' voice. I actually sat and cried. I now have bought her album. Mia is learning to sing maybe one day she can sing as beautifully!
I hope you enjoy Adele's song "Someone Like You" as much as I did.
One of my beautiful friends is going to a build a home in Victoria, she is gathering ideas and sent me this picture of this gorgeous entrance. I think the windows just sets off the door. A beautiful light and sunny spot. She did say she may need to put in blinds because if she was in the house by herself she would feel a little vunerable. I completely understand her thoughts.
I have an assignment I have to start today, we are learning to draw plans, oh my goodness there is so much to learn and understand, I thought I was o.k. at reading plans but I am feeling a little confused!
I bought this book as a Mother's Day present for myself, I have only read to page 14 but can't wait to sit down with a cup of tea and just keep reading.
I graduated last Friday from my Interior Decoration Course and today I am starting the advanced course in Interiors and Design. Wish me luck, I think I will need it. I have been advised I need to study at least 15 to 20 hours per week. This will be challenging as I work 3 days a week. I know I can do it, I will have to be completely organised.
I have posted this picture before, it is my favourite photo which was taken on Mother's Day about 5 years ago. I remember this day so fondly; we had such a wonderful day. Mum always loved coming to our home for lunch, being with her Grand children and daughters just made her day.
For those of you who will see there Mum's on Sunday have a splendid day and treasure the moment! I look forward to waking up and having a cup of tea and a magazine brought to me! Oh and watching my son play football.
A quote which I believe is so true!

BEAUTIFUL LIMESTONE FOUNTAINS MADE TO ORDER AND IMPORTED FROM FRANCE BY THE COUNTRY TRADER - THIS FOUNTAIN - REF F069
I found this picture from the Country Trader Website. It's not the fountain that took my interest as lovely as it is, but the beautiful rustic building. Imagine the stories behind this building. Looking at it closely it maybe a Church.
